\t\t\t\tWe have just returned from our second annual lab retreat- an overnight in the woods where we get caught up on each other’s upcoming fieldwork plans, discuss last summer’s data, and coordinate lab activities. This year we also talked a lot about the ‘science of team science’ and how our Myers-Briggs personalities influence our collaboration styles.<\/p>\n

For the second consecutive year, it was the coldest night of the entire winter (-23oF, with windchill) and Alex thoroughly beat us (repeatedly) in rummikub. \u00a0Maybe next year it will be balmy warm and we’ll overcome Alex’s rummikub domination…<\/p>\n
