Dominique (Dom) Edwards joined the Carey lab in Fall 2024 and is interested in studying the relationship between reservoirs and macrophytes, particularly how global change can affect ecosystem processes linked to methane emissions. He also is interested in using ecological forecasting to understand and predict macrophyte dynamics in reservoirs.

Dom completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY-New Paltz in May 2024, where he had a strong focus on long-term lake monitoring and temperature dynamics across local ponds and lakes.
